What trailers do you rent?

A 16' x 6.5' Big Tex open utility trailer with ramps ($75/day) and a 5' x 10' Transhaul enclosed cargo trailer ($65/day). Weekend, weekly and monthly rates are on each trailer's page.

What do I need to tow one?

Both trailers use a standard 2" ball. Most SUVs and trucks are fine. If you're unsure, call or text (251) 752-1993 before booking and we'll confirm your vehicle works.

Is anything extra?

No. Straps, spare tire, hitch lock, and ramps (utility) or moving blankets and a dolly (enclosed) are included. The only other charges are a 4.25% tax, a refundable security deposit ($150 to $250 depending on the trailer) and a small card processing fee shown before you pay.

Can I pick up after hours or on weekends?

Yes. We operate 24/7. Once your reservation is approved you'll get contactless pickup instructions so you can pick up and return on your schedule, day or night.

How do I reserve?

Click Book Now, choose your dates, enter your driver info, upload a photo of your license and insurance card, and pay. Returning customers sign in with a text code and skip the paperwork.

What if I'm running late?

Call or text us as soon as you know. Late returns without a heads-up may be charged an extra rental period.

Do you deliver?

Not currently. Pickup and return are at our Foley location, about 10 minutes from Gulf Shores.

What's the cancellation policy?

Contact us as early as possible. Refund eligibility depends on how much notice you give before your scheduled pickup.Please review the following information before reserving a trailer with Baldwin County Trailer Rentals.

Pickup & Return

Trailers must be picked up and returned at the agreed rental times. If you need to change your pickup or return time, please contact us as soon as possible.

Late returns may result in additional rental charges if the trailer is returned past the scheduled return time without prior approval.

Driver Requirements

The person renting the trailer must have a valid driver’s license and be legally able to operate the tow vehicle.

The renter is responsible for making sure their tow vehicle is properly rated to safely pull the trailer and the intended load.

Tow Vehicle Requirements

Your tow vehicle must have the proper hitch, ball size, electrical connection, and towing capacity for the trailer being rented.

Some trailers require:

1. 2” trailer ball
2. 4-pin flat plug
3. 7-way trailer plug

Please contact us before pickup if you are unsure whether your vehicle is properly equipped.

Loading & Weight

The renter is responsible for properly loading, balancing, and securing all cargo.

Do not exceed the trailer’s rated GVWR or maximum payload capacity.

Baldwin County Trailer Rentals reserves the right to refuse a rental if the tow vehicle or towing setup is determined to be unsafe.

Trailer Condition

Please inspect the trailer at pickup and notify us of any existing damage.

The trailer must be returned in reasonably clean condition and in the same general condition in which it was rented, excluding normal wear.

Additional cleaning or damage charges may apply when necessary.

Tires, Damage & Roadside Issues

The renter is responsible for immediately notifying Baldwin County Trailer Rentals of any accident, damage, tire issue, or mechanical problem that occurs during the rental.

Do not attempt major repairs or modifications without contacting us first.

Prohibited Use

Trailers may not be used for illegal activities, overloaded beyond their rated capacity, or operated in an unsafe manner.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule your reservation, please contact us as early as possible.

Cancellation and refund eligibility may depend on how much notice is provided before the scheduled rental.

Trailer pickup and return is at Baldwin County Trailer Rentals in Foley, Alabama.

Exact pickup instructions will be provided with your reservation.

If you are unsure whether a trailer will work for your vehicle, equipment, or job, please contact us before booking. We would rather help you choose the correct trailer than have you arrive with an incompatible towing setup.

Tax rate of 4.25% applies to all rentals.

Security Deposit

A refundable security deposit is required for each trailer rental.

Security deposit amounts vary depending on the trailer and will be shown during the reservation process.

Typical security deposits are:

1. $150-200
2. $250 for select larger or higher-value trailers

The security deposit may be used toward unpaid rental charges, damage, excessive cleaning, missing equipment, late-return charges, or other charges allowed under the rental agreement.

Any remaining refundable portion of the security deposit will be released after the trailer has been returned and inspected.

Please note that your bank or card provider may take additional time to show the released funds in your account.

Rental Charges

Rental pricing is based on the trailer selected and the length of the rental.

The rental price shown during checkout does not cover damage, late fees, excessive cleaning, missing equipment, or other additional charges that may occur during the rental.

Card Processing Fee

A card processing fee may apply to credit or debit card transactions.

Any applicable fee will be disclosed before payment is completed.

Late Returns

Trailers returned after the scheduled return time without prior approval may be subject to additional rental charges.

If you believe you will be late, please contact Baldwin County Trailer Rentals as soon as possible.

Damage & Cleaning Charges

The renter may be responsible for costs associated with:

1. Damage beyond normal wear and tear
2. Missing or damaged trailer equipment
3. Excessive cleaning
4. Unauthorized repairs or modifications
5. Damage caused by overloading or improper use

Refunds

Refunds and security-deposit releases are processed after the trailer has been returned and inspected.

Processing times may vary depending on your bank or card provider.
